Estates delivered under Brian Hardy’s on-site leadership

Each of these Rancho Santa Fe residences was carried from the ground up with Brian Hardy as Project Superintendent — responsible for schedule, quality, trade coordination, and the owner’s experience, every day of the build.

About

Brian Hardy

Brian Hardy has been building custom homes for more than twenty-five years — and he started the way the best builders do: on a framing crew, learning how a house actually goes together, one wall at a time. That ground-up education never left him. It’s why he can walk a job site and see what a set of plans won’t show, and why the trades who work for him know they can’t cut a corner he hasn’t already framed himself.

Over his career Brian has delivered more than $100 million in completed custom home construction, most recently as Project Superintendent on some of Rancho Santa Fe’s most ambitious covenant estates — ground-up builds where he was the person owners, architects, and trade partners relied on every day to turn drawings into a finished home.

Pacific Highland Homes is that experience made into a company: a builder run from the field, not from an office across town. Schedules hold because the sequencing is planned by someone who has actually run the work. Quality holds up because every pour, every frame line, and every finish detail is checked by the same set of eyes from groundbreaking to the final walkthrough — backed by a tight bench of proven trade partners in foundations, framing, and hardscape who have delivered alongside Brian for years.

From the Frame Up

Twenty-five years in the trade, starting on framing crews — Brian builds from having swung the hammer, not just held the plans.

How We Work

A build managed the way it should be

01

Preconstruction

Plan review, constructability input, realistic budgeting, and a construction schedule built from field experience — before a shovel hits the ground.

02

Construction

Daily on-site supervision, tight trade sequencing, proactive inspections, and clear weekly owner communication from grading through finish.

03

Delivery

A disciplined close-out: punch lists actually completed, systems commissioned and documented, and a home handed over ready to live in.
